Kelly Group Rebrand

Having recently re-branded both exterior and internal signage at Kelly Group premises in Enfield, Signs Express (Harlow) were approached for signage and interior design ideas to brand the new National Training Centre being developed on the Brimsdown site. As a state-of-the-art facility and a showcase for the group, it was important the signage and interior specification reflected the heritage and branding of the company.

In keeping with the roadside exterior signs completed less than a year previously, face lit built up lettering and logo in the distinctive 'Kelly blue' colour, were installed at high level by our IPAF qualified install team, this time to span 7.5 metres. To the left of this, on the actual training centre building, we installed complimenting face illuminated stainless steel lettering "National Training Centre" this time powder coated white.

Turning to the building interior, design ideas were discussed based around feature walls depicting Kelly Group engineers at work and additionally highlighting the curved staircase with the timeline of the group. To create a welcoming yet impressive entrance for the trainees, the ground floor 'Welcome' wall has a one-piece digitally printed wallpaper installed that also incorporates a halo lit Kelly Group logo. The first-floor landing wall was also chosen as a feature wall, this time a one-piece wallpaper spanning 7.5 metres being installed. The most challenging installation was that of the timeline wallpaper as this was to fit in two pieces around a curved stairwell wall with an overall drop of 6 metres. As can be seen from the attached ../images this proved a tight fit for the required access equipment! Further finishing touches within the training rooms include wall mounted acrylic lettering fitted on stand-off locator fixings for each room name, vinyl graphics applied to internal walls depicting company core values, and interchangeable slider systems for all workstations allowing the relevant training course details to be displayed.

Cockhedge Shopping Centre Rebrand
购物中心标识改版
Signs Express (Warrington) gives Cockhedge Shopping Centre a colourful facelift with new external signage that attracts the crowds.
标识速递为Cockhedge购物中心进行了一次色彩丰富的标识改版工作，其中包含新的外部标牌，吸引了众多消费者。
Signs Express Warrington has plenty of previous experience rebranding shopping centres, having previously done Birchwood and Runcorn Shopping centres' signs. Due to the business' glowing track record, Cockhedge's marketing company approached the team at Warrington to completely rejuvenate their out dated signage and bring it in line with a much needed rebranding project.

With the agency setting the design, the team at Signs Express (Warrington) had the interesting task of making these designs come to life, as well as ensuring that the install was thoroughly organised to cause the least disruption possible. The entire project comprised fifteen double sided illuminated signs, 3 large illuminated fascia signs, 6 panel & post signs, as well as interior floor graphics.

The entire project took 18 months to complete, from the initial contact with the agency through to the installation. The install itself took three weeks and required two sets of high access equipment to complete.

'The Cockhedge project was especially interesting considering the size and scale of the manufacture and install, which has also made a massive impact on the appearance of the site and now reflects the excellent reputation of the shopping centre,' David Morris, owner of Signs Express Warrington stated.

Celebrity Edge
名流交际号
Celebrity Edge was voted the best new ship award in 2019. It is an edge class cruise ship operated by Celebrity Cruises. She is currently the largest ship in the fleet.

Celebrity Edge was a huge project in which we created a variety of signage for the company. To begin with we were approached by a marketing agency 'Frontpage' in Glasgow for this fabulous opportunity. We were responsible for the concept, design and installation of the sign.

Our main attraction was the freestanding illuminated logo which stood at 2.3m high x 1.8m wide. The impact of the sign was instant as passengers walked through the cruise terminal which gained a hugely positive response.
标识速递在整个项目中的点睛之笔，是一块独立的发光字LOGO，高2.3m宽1.8米。当乘客闯过邮轮码头时，标识会挟带巨大的影响力映入他们的眼前。在投入使用后，这块标识立刻获得了巨大的积极反响。
We had to come up with a solution to make the word “Celebrity” float above the rest of the sign. We decided to use 10mm acrylic with the text etched and illuminate it from the edge.
制作过程并不是一帆风顺，难点就是标识速递必须想出一种解决方案，使得“名人（Celebrity）”一词能够看起来浮在标识的上方。最后，设计团队决定使用10mm亚克力蚀刻文字·以边缘照明的方式呈现。
The sign also needed to be easy to dismantle and move as there was a complex schedule with other cruise operators using the terminal. The top half of the sign simply lifts and divides the sign into 2 pieces. It meant we could easily remove the sign and replace it when needed. The sign was also illuminated on both sides.
该标识还有一项硬性要求：必须易于拆卸和移动。因为码头并不只为一艘船服务，而使用同一个码头的邮轮运营商们的排班时间表很复杂，因此标识必须时常更换。

The sign has an aluminium sub frame and powder coated aluminium returns and it is illuminated using 6000 Kelvin LED’s to give a nice bright white light, as the client was very keen to avoid the lighting looking too warm.

As well as our main attraction, we also designed 80 Foamex Signs, 20 window graphics, 20 roller banners, 24 gloss posters and 19 projecting banners/flags.

The largest nearly new and used car supermarket in the North West has kicked off their rebrand plans with the replacement of the 20 year old 70 metre external sign which wraps around the front of the building.
英国西北地区最大的新车和二手车市场顺应潮流，开始了他们的品牌重塑计划，其中包括替换环绕建筑正面已有20多年的70m长外部标识。
We were asked by the marketing team at Fords of Winsford to help with the rebranding of their flagship site. They were starting their new look with tackling the replacement of their vast 70 metre exterior sign and graphics which had not been updated or replaced since the 1990's.

Our first test was to see how the new branded colours would look in a small section of the existing flex face. We replaced a 5 metre part of the business sign on the left of the building and then met with Fords of Winsford's marketing team to determine if the updated logo and colours would work moving forward. Consistency of the branding was of course key.

The team immediately agreed that the new sign was a success and we were given the go-ahead to replace the remaining 65 metres around the face of the entrance. In keeping with the new look, the existing lighting was refreshed with new LED lights to ensure the best possible illumination before the newly branded outdoor business sign was installed.

Fords and Winsford and my team at Signs Express Macclesfield were extremely happy with the finished look and believe it gives the premises a modern and fresh new look.
